Udta Punjab is based on burning drug abuse issue in Punjab. Directed by Abhishek Choubey, the movie stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. Produced by Balaji Motion Films, Udta Punjab is slated for release on 17 June 2016.
