Varun Dhawan Reminds Me Of My Younger Version: Salman Khan

Salman Khan is gearing up for his next release, Sultan, slated for release on Eid 2016. The movie has created tremendous buzz and is expected to set the Box Office on fire. Salman Khan was busy for almost six months with the shooting of Sultan and now when the shooting of the movie is wrapped up, the actor is interacting with media.

During a recent interaction with a leading daily the Dabangg Khan opened up about the young actors of Bollywood the current state of the Hindi film industry. The superstar of Bollywood feels that Varun Dhawan reminds him of his younger version.

Salman said, “The younger generation have also grown up watching us. So each one has lots of shades of all of us. You can tell ki kis raah pe jaa rahe hai. I think Varun Dhawan is like me because he’s seen me forever now. I think Tiger is very talented, so is Sooraj. Sidharth is doing really well right now and Aditya’s there, too.”

When Salman was asked about the importance of godfather in the industry, the actor said,”You see so many people who have not made it. Then they use stuff, ‘You know how it works, na. They are from a filmy family, their boyfriend’s a superstar. We don’t have any support or godfather.’ Humara kaun sa godfather tha, yaar? Shah Rukh Khan ka kaun sa godfather tha?”

After Sultan, Salman Khan will start shooting for Kabir Khan’s next slated for release on Eid 2017. We should remind you that Varun will be seen in Judwaa 2, a remake of Salman Khan’s super hit movie, Judwaa, released in 1997.
