The Udta Punjab Trailer is something that we have never seen before. The movie is all about the rampant drug problem in the state of Punjab. The trailer shows us how this drug issue brings together the life of a rock star, a migrant laborer, a doctor and a cop. Shahid Kapoor plays the rock star Tommy Singh, Alia Bhatt plays the laborer, Kareena Kapoor Khan is seen as a doctor and debutante Diljit Dosanjh is seen as a cop.
Shahid Kapoor looks so in his character, a rock star who goes crazy for drugs. Alia Bhatt has gone through a drastic transformation for the movie and looks almost unrecognizable as a laborer. Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh mean business as a doctor and cop respectively.
Udta Punjab is all about the Punjabi spirit, that has been brought slightly down by drugs but still has the audacity of looking you in the eye and saying – Drugs di maa di! The movie takes you on a trip like never before connecting 4 lives with a common connection- Punjab!
