Salman Khan’s most awaited movie, Bharat hasn’t performed as per expectations. As expected, the movie is off to a bumper opening at the Indian box office and earned 42.3 crores. It remained stable throughout the weekend and earned 122.2 crores in four days. However, the movie really failed to get going and hasn’t crossed 200 crore mark in 14 days.
In this report, we are comparing the box office collection of Bharat with Salman Khan’s blockbusters like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both of them crossed 300 crores at the domestic box office and the same is expected from Bharat. Tiger Zinda hai is currently the highest grossing movie of Salman Khan with the lifetime collection of 339.5 crores.

Sultan had a huge opening as it was released on Eid which is Salman Khan’s favourite release date. Sultan earned 36.54 crores on the first day, second highest opening day for Salman Khan after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (40.35 crores).
Released on 22 Dec 2017, Tiger Zinda Hai had a superb opening as it earned 34.2 crores on its opening day. Bharat emerged top opening day grosser for Salman with the collection of 42.3 crores.
Tiger Zinda Hai Vs Bharat Vs Sultan Opening Weekend Collection
Dangal had a huge opening weekend with the collection of 106.95 crores. With the collection of 106.95 crores, it has beaten the opening weekend collection of biggies like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan (105.34 crores). However, it failed to beat the opening weekend collection of Happy New Year and Dhoom 3. (Highest opening weekend collection of Bollywood)
Tiger Zinda Hai recorded the highest opening weekend collection of all time. It earned 114.93 crores in the first weekend. The record was broken by last year release Sanju (120.06 crores). Bharat had a five days extended weekend and it earned 150.1 crores.

Talking about the opening week collection, Sultan earned 208.8 crores while TZH earned 206.42 crores. Both of them are among the top 5 opening week grosserrs of all time.
Bharat had a low opening week. It earned just 167.6 crores in seven days and 179.1 crores in the extended first week (7 days).
Tiger Zinda Hai Vs Bharat Vs Sultan Lifetime Collection
Salman Khan’s Sultan struggles to cross 300 crores after a huge 208.8 crores the first week. It earned 300.5 crores in its lifetime. Tiger Zinda Hai had a very good run at the Indian box office. It becomes Salman Khan’s top grosser with the lifetime collection of 339.5 crores. Bharat is struggling at the box office and its lifetime collection would be in the range of 210-215 crores.
