Salman Khan’s latest release Tiger Zinda Hai is having dream run. In just 4 days, it has emerged as second highest grosser of 2017.
There is no stopping Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai at the domestic box office. After an incredible opening weekend with the collection of 114.93 crores, the movie has now recorded record-breaking first Monday. As per early estimates, the movie earned around 40 crores on Monday. The total collection of the movie after 4 days stands at 154 crores.
With the collection of 154 crores, Tiger Zinda Hai is now the second highest grosser of the year. It has beaten the lifetime collection of biggies like Raees, Jolly LLB 2, TEPK, JHMS is flat four days. Golmaal Again is at the top with the collection of 205 crores. We are not considering the Hindi version of south blockbuster Bahubali 2 which earned 511 crores.

With the current trend, the movie is expected to enter 200 crore club in the first week itself. However, it will be difficult to maintain this pace for the for long time as it is not a typical masala entertainer. Tiger Zinda Hai is a serious movie based on terrorism and the family audience will not give it a chance after the holiday period. 300 crores certainly look possible but the movie has to sustain well on weekdays.
Talking about Salman Khan’s top grossers, Tiger Zinda Hai is currently at the 7th position. It has beaten the lifetime collection of Tubelight, Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ready and Jai Ho.
