On 16 Aug 2016, Akshay Kumar announced that he is collaborating with Neeraj Pandey for a psychological thriller titled Crack. The poster of the movie was shared by Akshay with the release date being Independence Day 2017.
Yesterday only, Salman Khan announced the release date of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s next film with Imtiaz Ali. Tentatively titled ‘The Ring’, the movie will hit the theatres on 11 Aug 2017.
As per the reports coming, the big Box Office clash has been averted. As per the reports, Neeraj Pandey might push his film ahead. Though nothing is confirmed, we hear that Akshay and Neeraj are planning to push their film ahead for some time. Akshay will start with R. Balki’s next once he completes TEPK.
It seems that Crack will now be moved to 2018 as Akshay Kumar has a big release 2.0 on Diwali 2017.
This is a big relief for Shah Rukh Khan as one of hie big releases will now get a solo release and that too on an Independence Day weekend. SRK’s Raees, however, is still clashing with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil on 26 Jan 2017.
