Aamir Khan’s Dangal was finally released yesterday. As expected the movie got off to a flying start at the Box Office. The movie witnessed an occupancy of around 70% on its opening day. Sultan has a slight edge in interiors as Salman Khan enjoys a huge fan following in mass centres.

Aamir Khan’s Dangal has been released on 4300 screens. Sultan was released on 4350 screens. Both movies have the same reach as far as screen size is concerned. Sultan had an advantage of partial holiday which seems to be working in its favour. While Sultan earned 36.64 crores on its opening day, Dangal fall short and earned 29.78 crores.

Dangal has received superb reviews from critics and audience and with holiday season kickstarting on 25 December, we are expecting it to witness huge growth on Saturday and Sunday. Expect it to enter the 100 crore club in the first weekend itself. Dangal will surely make it to the blockbuster list of Bollywood.
