The evergreen, most loved onscreen couple of Bollywood-SRK and Kajol will be back to romance each other in the blockbuster director Rohit Shetty’s next. The couple have earlier given super hits like Baazigar, Dilwaale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and My Name Is Khan. The audience have always loved their golden pairing and Rohit Shetty is all set to bring the epic couple back onscreen with his untitled next.
The ‘Singham’ director is already on cloud nine with the recent humongous success of Singham Returns. As Rohit shares a very good rapport with Ajay Devgn, he decided to pair Ajay’s wife Kajol opposite Shah Rukh Khan in his next project. The official announcement date hasn’t been made yet. But the source assures, “Rohit will be directing SRK in his next film. He has signed on Kajol as the lead actress for the film. This is a indeed coup though everything is at the planning stage right now. In fact, the film’s pre-production work has already begun and an official announcement should be made soon.”
Director Rohit worked for the first time with SRK in Chennai Express which was a blockbuster. Rohit wants to bring the magic again and hopes the audience will like it too.
Sources confirm, “The film will go on the floors in the first half of 2015. Just last week, Rohit Shetty finalized Kajol as the leading lady of the film.”
However, it will be interesting to see Ajay Devgn’s reaction since he has always shared cold vibes with Shahrukh. With close friend Rohit Shetty and wife Kajol keen on working with SRK, Ajay will definitely have a hard time. However, Ajay is currently enjoying the success of Singham Returns which has already reached the 100 Cr club of Bollywood, thereby breaking many records.
