Looks like there is no break for the famous Big Fat Indian Weddings in Bollywood Families. After the much hyped Wedding of Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan with Delhi based business person Aayush Sharma, it’s now the turn of the Pataudi family to celebrate Soha Ali Khan and fiance Kunal Khemu’s wedding.
The couple have been going strong since four and a half-year. Kunal then proposed to Soha in a total filmy style at Paris. Soha described her engagement ring to be the world’s perfect ring.
Since the engagement of the couple, many talks have come forward about their wedding. Veteran actress, Sharmila Tagore who is Soha’s mother, has started wedding preparations long back.
Soha says, “She is a wonderful event planner. She had been planning my marriage for a long time. Now that there’s a name for the groom on the invitation card, she’s all set. Now we need to think about what kind of a wedding, when.”
Reportedly, the wedding date has been fixed for 25th January, 2015. Reports are abuzz that the wedding will not be a grand affair but a simple one. However, a source close to the family says otherwise.
“How can a wedding in the Khan-Tagore parivar be simple? Even the Saif-Kareena wedding was meant to be attended by just a selected few. Soha and Kunal have planned an austere wedding on January 25. But we feel it will finally turn into a big fat wedding.”
After Soha’s brother Saif Ali Khan got married to Kapoor Kudi Kareena, Sharmila so dearly wanted her daughter to get married and now the time is finally nearing.
