As we estimated yesterday, Akshay Kumar‘s Singh Is Bling has opened to a bumper opening at domestic Box Office. Prabhu Deva’s masala potboiler collected 20.67 crores on its opening day to become the second highest opening day grosser of 2015.
The movie registered an average occupancy of around 60% on its opening day. The occupancy in North-Indian areas like Punjab, Delhi and U.P. was excellent ranging 80% to 95%. The movie is also benefited by the fact that it was a Gandhi Jayandi Holiday across the country.
With 20.67 crores, Singh is Bling becomes the highest opening day grosser for Akshay Kumar. Singh Is Bling beats the opening day collection of Brothers (15.2 crores) and Rowdy Rathode (15.1 crores).
