Simmba: This is the title of Rohit Shetty’s next film with Ranveer Singh

The much awaited Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh film has been titled Simmba. Ranveer Singh to play a notorious cop in the film.

The news of Ranveer Singh working with Rohit Shetty has been doing rounds for more than a year. On Thursday, the actor has make it official by sharing the first look poster of the film. The movie has been titled Simmba and Ranveer will play a notorious cop in the film.

Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have collaborated for a massy action comic entertainer titled Simbaa. The first look poster of the movie suggest that Ranveer will play a fearless and notorious cop in the film. The film is expected to be on the same lines as Singham expect that Ranveer’s character in the film will have some comic angle as well.

Tammanaah Bhatia is the likely leading lady of the film though there is no official announcement yet. Rohit Shetty is known for making massy entertaining films and Simbaa looks like an addition to his big list. The movie will hit the big screens on 28 Dec 2018, one week after Shah Rukh Khan’s Dwarf film.

Ranveer Singh is currently waiting for the release of his controversial film Padmavati. The movie  scheduled for release on 1 Dec 2017 release has been postponed. Ranveer also has a film with Alia Bhatt titled Gully Boy.
