The Shaukeens Trailer : Annu Kapoor’s one liners and Lisa Haydon’s glamorous avatar steals the show

The official theatrical trailer of Akshay Kumar and Lisa Haydon starer The Shaukeens was released by Akshay Kumar yesterday at an event in Mumbai. Entire starcast of the movie was present at the trailer launch.

“I am playing myself in the film and the only thing that was added in my character was that I was shown as an alcoholic in the movie which is different from my real life character. I had a great time shooting for this film,”  Akshay Kumar told reporters at the event.

The Shaukeens is touted to be a coming of age comedy featuring three oldies, who are looking to spice up their boring lives.

The Shaukeens Trailer Review

The trailer of the movie opens up with the introduction of three old shaukeens who want to add spark to their lives.  These oldies have interesting names Laali, KD and Pinky played by Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra respectively. Its quite funny to see these three men trying to woo young women. Anupam Kher and Piyush Mishra seems good but it is Annu Kapoor who steals the show with his one liners. Remember Dr. Chaddha of Vicky Donor, you will get the glimpse of his character.

Next, we have super sexy Lisa Haydon playing the role of Akshay Kumar’s fan. She looks gorgeous and we hope to see more off her in upcoming movies. Akshay Kumar is doing a cameo in the movie. He is playing himself and we must say that he just rocked as an arrogant superstar.

The Shaukeens is a remake of 1980 classic Shaukeen which has Mithun Chakravorty, Rati Agnihotri, A.K. Hangal, Utpal Dutt and Ashok Kumar.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and Written by Tigmanshu Dhulia, The Shaukeens is slated for Nov 7 2014 release. Are you waiting to see them on screen.
