Shah Rukh Khan has made it official that he is going to make the sequel of Ra.One and it will be titled G.One!
Shah Rukh Khan has confirmed the reports that they are currently working on the script of the sequel of Ra.One. They are planning to take cinema to the next level with G.One. He confirmed the news in an interview with a leading daily.
During the interview, Shah Rukh Khan was asked to speak about the sequel of his dream project Ra One to which he said, “I will 100 per cent make the sequel. There are no two ways about it. By nature I am not someone to give up on a dream — be it KKR or Ra.One. Of course, we will make it better now, because we have five more years of amazing experience in technology. I think we are the only ones who have it in this country. Inshallah, we will figure a story and I will speak to Anubhav Sinha again. The film will be called G.One. It requires planning and today we have a good set up.”
Ra.One was released in 2011 and it was the costliest movie of Indian Cinema at that time with a total investment of 135 crores. The movie’s revenue was 147 crores, with a total profit of just 12 crores.
