Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar is having a good run at the domestic box office. After a slow start on Thursday, the movie witnessed huge growth on Friday to earn 9.3 crores. On the third day of its release, Secret Superstar recorded a drop of around 10% compared to Friday. This drop is understandable as there was a big national holiday on Friday. As per the reports coming, Secret Superstar 3rd day collection is around 8.5 crores.
The movie is performing well in the major metro cities. In small towns and mass centres, Golmaal Again has been the first choice for the moviegoers. Golmaal Again has created a havoc at the box office and this has certainly affected Secret Superstar. Despite superb reviews and positive word of mouth, the movie hasn’t seen a sort of push that we were expecting.

After three days, the total collection of Secret Superstar stands at around 22.5 crores. The numbers are average considering that it stars Aamir Khan in a special cameo. The first weekend numbers of Secret Superstar will be around 30 crores. The real test will start from Monday when the holiday period gets over.
Made on a budget of around 45 crores, Secret Superstar needs to earn 50 crores to be called hit at the box office. The hold on Monday will decide, how much the movie will earn in its lifetime.
