Friendships do exist in Bollywood, however rare they may be and Sanjay Dutt has given proof of it today. He going to make comeback in Bollywood with Bhoomi, but Sanjay Dutt postpones Bhoomi so that it doesn’t clash with Aamir’s Secret Superstar.
According to a report by Mid-Day, “Dutt doesn’t want to clash with Aamir since they go a long way. We have seen that no matter how professional people act, box office contests eventually get dirty, even between close friends. Moreover, Aamir’s is a small budget film, riding solely on content. A star clash could affect it.”
We all remember how things ended up between Karan Johar-Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan-Ritesh Sidhwani when Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clashed with Shivaay and Raees clashed with Kaabil respectively. The fact that Sanjay Dutt is not even willing to take that risk is absolutely admirable and is proof that the man values friendship over everything else.
When Dutt was asked to comment about this, he said-
“I know the kind of hard work and effort that goes into making a film. I believe, after all the work being put in, it can’t be reduced to a clash at the box office. Aamir is a dear friend and I wouldn’t want my comeback film to be pitted against his. In this industry, we should all make an effort to help each other.”

Bhoomi was initially scheduled to release on 4th August. Now that Sanjay wants to postpone it, let’s see what the producers decide and wait for a new release date.
