Sanjay Dutt, who was convicted with a five-year sentence for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, will be a free man soon!
The actor is currently in the Yerwada Central Jail, Pune as the Apex Court convicted him under the Arms Act for possessing weapons in 2013 and sentenced him to five years in jail. He had already served 18 months as an undertrial and was required to serve the remaining 42 months, which are now about to complete.
Though Sanjay Dutt has been in and out of the jail frequently, taking temporary leaves in the form of parole and furloughs. He was out again this September on account of his daughter’s nose surgery. An official source from Yerwada Jail just released a statement stating Sanjay will walk out a free man in first week of March since he has behaved well during his term in jail.
