Sanam Re 1st Day Collection – Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam starrer Sanam Re had a better opening day than Fitoor and Deadpool.
Director Divya Khosla Kumar’s second directional venture, Sanam Re got off to a good start at the domestic Box Office. As predicted by us, the movie witnessed decent Box Office numbers on an opening day. As per the official report by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam starrer romantic saga collected 5.04 crores on the first day. The first-day collection of the movie is better than the other two release of the day, Fitoor and Deadpool.
Sanam Re 1st day collection and occupancy report
Sanam Re had a slow start in the morning shows with an average occupancy of around 15% in the morning shows. The movie witnessed decent growth in the evening shows and remained the first choice for the viewers in mass centres and small towns. Sanam Re is also benefitted by the fact that the movie has been released on a larger scale compared to other two release. The total screen count of Sanam Re is equal to the combined screen count of Fitoor (1224) and Deadpool (700).
The movie has received negative reviews from critics but the WOM is better which may help it in a long run. The budget of the movie is low and even a good opening weekend would be enough to recover the production cost. The movie is expected to show some growth on Saturday and Sunday as the other release, Fitoor has been completely rejected in small town and circuits.
