Salman Khan’s Next Movie With Kabir Khan Titled Majdhaar: Scheduled for release on Eid 2017, the movie will go on floors in August 2016.

Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are coming together once again after the grand success of Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Though details are being kept under wraps, our sources claim that the movie is based on Indo-China subject and will see Salman Khan undertake a journey from India to China. The latest updates also suggest that the movie has been titled Majdhaar. Interestingly, Salman Khan had previously starred in a film titled Majhdhaar which was released in 1996. The movie was a big flop at the Box Office.

Though there is no official confirmation, but our sources hint that this is the current title in consideration. Earlier there were reports that Deepika Padukone has been signed opposite Salman but now we hear that the makers are looking for Chinese actress.

Salman Khan Films COO Amar Butala has confirmed the news, saying that the team is looking at roping in Chinese actors. When asked about the starcast Butala confirmed, “Firstly, this is not a part of Indo-China treaty. Yes, we are looking to rope in Chinese actors for the film, but I can’t divulge into further details.” The casting director of the movie also confirmed that they are looking for Chinese actors.

Majdhaar will be produced by Salman Khan under his home production banner Salman Khan Films. The shooting of the movie is expected to start in July/August once Salman Khan’s Sultan releases in theatres. Kabir Khan looks excited as he said, “From Ek Tha Tiger to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it has been a great journey working with Salman Khan. I’m excited to start our new film, and come this July, we will commence our shoot in Ladakh and I’m sure we will have as much fun making it as we did while shooting Bajrangi Bhaijaan.”

Amar Butala COO Salman Khan Films also looked excited as he confirmed, “Salman Khan Films is delighted to bring together the winning combination of Salman and Kabir again after the remarkable success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film will release on Eid 2017 and we hope this film will be as loved as Bajrangi Bhaijaan.”
