Zee Music Company has released the complete soundtrack of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom. It’s a large album with a total of ten tracks (six originals, four reprised), composed by various composers including Raghav Sachar, Jeet Gannguli, Ankit Tiwari and Arko. The lyrics of all the songs except one have been penned by Manoj Muntashir. Below is our Rustom Music Review-
The first song from Rustom is a romantic track titled as Tere Sang Yaara. Sung by Atif Aslam, the music is composed by Arko. This track was released about two weeks ago and it has already become a chartbuster. Tere Saang Yaara is the new love anthem of the nation and it completes deserves to be so!
2. Rustom Vahi
Sung by Sukriti Kakar, the music of the song is given by Raghav Sachar. The song has remarkable retro feel to it and Sukriti’s voice does complete justice to the song. Jo Jeeta Yahan..Hai RustomVahi, a song which perfectly brings out the essence of Rustom!
3. Tay Hai
Tay Hai is very emotional number sung and composed by Ankit Tiwari. It is just like any other Ankit Tiwari song and reminds of his old renditions. Though it is not unpleasent to hear.
4. Dekha Hazaro Dafaa
For Dekho Hazaro Dafaa, Arijit Singh and Palak Muchhal get together with the music of Jeet Gannguli. This track transcends the listener into a happy place where there is only love. Arijit and Palak’s voice suit each other and the simple music complements it.
5. Dhal Jaun Main
Jeet Gannguli is here with another great composition. Crooned by Jubin Nautiyal and Aakanksha Sharma, the lyrics by Manoj are so lovely and it proves how good a lyricist he is. An utterly beautiful melody that will touch your heart.
6. Jab Tum Hote Ho
With Ankit Tiwari‘s music and Shreya Ghoshal‘s voice, Jab Tum Hote is strangely similar to many other of Shreya’s songs. It seems like Ankit did not give much thought to the melody and just went with a simpler tune.
7. Rustom Vahi Theme
This is the instrumental version of Rustom Vahi with Raghav Sachar’s music. It will probably be used as a background score.
8. Rustom Vahi – Marathi
The Marathi version of Rustom Vahi is sung by Jasraj Joshi with the lyrics of Mandar Cholkar.
9. Rustom Vahi – Male
Jasraj Joshi again takes the mike for the male version of Rustom Vahi. These three different versions of Rustom Vahi have nothing new to offer.
10. Tere Bin Yaara – Reprise
With Arko getting behind the mike and also as the composer, Tere Bin Yaara is the sad version of Tere Sang Yaara. But we can’t help but feel the love in the song after listening to Atif’s rendition.

Rustom Music Review: Our Final Verdict- Tinu Suresh Desai’s Rustom could have a better soundtrack. He has got the best composers and the best lyricist on board and they all have delivered. All the songs are lovely and worth listening. Our pick of the lot would be Tere Sang Yaara, Dekha Hazaaro Dafa, Dhal Jaun Main and Rustom Vahi.
