Rustom First Day Collection: Akshay Kumar’s Rustom got off to a good opening at domestic Box Office, registers 4th highest opening of 2016.
As predicted by us, Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta starrer Rustom has taken a solid opening at the domestic Box Office. Released on 2317 screens across the country, the movie registered an occupancy of around 45% on the opening day. As per the official figures shared by Taran Adarsh, Rustom first day collection is 14.11 crores. Despite clashing with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro, Rustom not only opened well but has also beaten Mohenjo Daro by a huge margin. Akshay Kumar has once again proved that he don’t need holidays to get good numbers at Box Office.

Rustom First Day Collection: Occupancy Report
Rustom got off to a good start with an average occupancy of around 40% in the morning shows. The movie witnessed good growth as the day progressed and the occupancy was as high as 70% in the evening shows. It performed best in multiplexes and metros where Akshay Kumar seems to gain a lot of trust with his last two movies, Airlift and Housefull 3.
