At the Filmfare Awards, she was awarded with the Best Female Debut Award and even received her first nomination for the Best Actress.
2. Meera Pandit

5. Meenalochani Azhagusundaram
Her second appearance with Shah Rukh Khan was in Chennai Express, where she played the daughter of a Tamil don. She had to adopt a Tamil accent for the movie. Though her accent was mediocre, her performance was praise-worthy. 6. Leela
Deepika’s first collaboration with ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela turned around her career in such a way that she hasn’t looked back. An adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, she played Leela (based on the character of Juliet). We saw a whole new side of Deepika in the movie showcasing sex and violence. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for this movie.
7. Piku Banerjee
2015 proved to be the year of Deepika Padukone. She gave us three super-hits back to back. Despite the presence of big stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, Deepika held Piku together with a restrained star turn.
