Release Date of ‘Half Girlfriend’: The makers of the film based on Chetan Bhagat‘s Half Girlfriend- Balaji Motion Pictures have announced the release date of the movie.
The movie will feature Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. It will go on the floors in February and will be directed by Mohit Suri, who has previously directed movies like ‘Aashiqui 2‘ and ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’. Ekta Kapoor will produce the film under her banner ‘Balaji Motion Pictures’.

Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a Bihari boy while Shraddha Kapoor will play a typical high-class English speaking rich Delhi girl. Reportedly, Arjun has been going under accent training for Bhojpuri dialect. They will start shooting for the film after they finish their current shooting for Ki and Ka and Rock On 2 respectively.
Chetan Bhagat’s novel Half Girlfriend was released on 1 October 2014 and was a best seller novel of the year. Hopefully, the movie will also do well.
