Rekha walked out of fitoor
Fitoor starcast with director Abhishek Kapoor

Abhishek Kapoor’s next directional venture Fitoor, has been in the news ever since its announcement. Well, the big news coming from the board is that Rekha, who was to play the character of Miss Havisham in Kapoor’s adaptation of Charles Dicken’s novel Great Expectations, has walked out of the film.

Rekha chose to walk out of the film since she was unhappy with the rushes of the film shown to her. This comes as a big shock for the makers as the movie is already running out of schedule. The problem however now is that Rekha’s sequences will have to be reshot with Tabu, Aditya and Katrina and getting the dates of the lead actors isn’t going to be easy for ABhishek Kapoor.

Tabu, who is riding high on success of Haider will now be replacing Rekha in the movie.Rekha’s sequences will have to be reshot with Aditya and Katrina. This is a big issue for Abhishek Kapoor as there will be a lot of rework and getting dates of the lead actors isn’t going to be easy. The movie may further see drag in its release date.
