Hrithik Roshan recently backed out of Aditya Chopra’s Thug citing script issues. Well, Hrithik’s exit make way for Aamir Khan who has reportedly signed the movie on the dotted lines. While everyone was convinced that Hrithik backed due to script issues. Hrithik demanded some changes in the script which were not made by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Well, now we have a new story doing rounds. As per the latest reports, Hrithik backed out, since Aditya had refused to pay him 60 crores, asked by the actor for doing the movie.
A source close to the film told a leading daily that Hrithik was asking for a flat 60 crores for the film. the makers tried to negotiate as they thought the requested amount was too high. Well, the things didn’t go well which resulted in Hrithik backing out of the project.
Aditya Chopra likes to work on profit sharing basis. In the past, he has worked with Aamir, SRK and Salman on a profit-sharing model. Well, Hrithik found this model quite risky and he walked out of the film. Well, the actor’s profit in this model depends on how the movie performs at the Box Office. It is risky sometimes as the movie may fail at the Box Office resulting in actor’s loss.
Well, Hrithik loss has become Aamir Khan’s gain who is all set to share the screen with Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films, Thus is expected to go on the floors by Mid 2017. The makers are eyeing Christmas 2018 for the film’s release.
