Rani Mukherji’s national anthem video to be attached with Kick

Rani Mukherji has shot for a national anthem video in which she will be singing along with the female cops. The actress will be seen in her upcoming movie “Mardaani” avatar.

The national anthem will be attached to Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ and will be played henceforth at the cinemas before movie. The video has been directed by ‘Mardaani’ director Pradeep Sarkar.

He says,” Shooting the National anthem with the women police force and Rani was quite an exhilarating experience. The women power of India singing the anthem altogether makes you stand up in pride and salute the true shakti present in all the Mardaani’s of India”.

The video will also feature Rani Mukherji’s niece Myiesha.

YRF banner ‘Mardaani’ is Rani’s first movie post marriage with Aditya Chopra. She plays the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, a cop who deals with human trafficking. The trailer has been liked a lot and the movie will release on 22 August, 2014.
