Raees 2nd day Box Office collection update: After a superb opening day with the collection of 20.42 crores, Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees reported good growth on its second day. The movie remained the first choice for the moviegoers. Raees took full advantage of the national holiday and witnessed 80% occupancy on its second day. Morning And Noon Shows Report:
Raees is off to a superb start on Thursday. It’s a national Holiday and the movie seems to have taken a full advantage of it. As per the reports coming, the movie witnessed a growth of around 20% jump compared to yesterday morning. Like yesterday, the movie started with a bang in Mumbai and Gujarat region. The movie reported 85% to 90% occupancy in these regions.
Kolkata remained the best performing circuit with the occupancy being around 90%. Down South, the movie is a bit low as Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil is going strong. Raees has shown superb growth today especially in multiplexes which were average yesterday because of working day.
Evening And Night Shows Report:
Raees’ evening shows were affected by T20 cricket match between India and England. The movie failed to witness any growth in the evening shows as it was running strongly in the noon shows. Raees is running like a riot in mass centres. the movie is running to full capacity in mass centres of Mumbai, Gujarat and West Bengal.
Raees 2nd Day Box Office Collection: Official Numbers And Way Ahead
Raees had a huge second day at the Box Office. The movie witnessed 75% to 80% occupancy on Thursday. Running on 3400 screens in India, Raees earned 26.3 crores on its second day. After two days, the total collection of the stands at 46.72 crores. 26.3 crores is the highest collection made by a Bollywood movie on a Republic day holiday. Raees has beaten Salman Khan’s Jai ho which earned around 26.25 crores.

Talking about the first day collection of the movie, with 20.42 crores Raees is the fourth highest opening day grosser for Shah Rukh Khan after Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Dilwale.
It will now face tough competition from Kaabil which also witnessed tremendous growth on the second day. From tomorrow the movie with a better WOM will start leading this race at the Box Office.
