First weekend collections of Race 2 : Race 2 has tremendous opening weekend at Box Office with collection around 50 crores.
Race 2 is going very strong at Box office. Its hard to believe but despite receiving vague reviews from critics as well as audience it has roped in 36 crores in just 2 days.There are many factors responsible for such a big opening. Firstly,its a sequel to Race ,which was one of the biggest hits of 2008.Secondly it has a grand release in India with 3200 screens only after Dabangg 2(3500) and Ek Tha Tiger(3300) and lastly , Saturday was Republic day and options for entertainment were restricted on silver screen.
Sunday could prove to be another big day for Race 2 as its a last day this weekend and there is no other movie to compete with. The expected collections on Sunday could be around 15 crore which will make it a total of around 50 crore, a whooping figure.
Race 2 surely gonna make 100 crore at Indian Box office as there is no big release next week as well.

In today’s scenario I guess we should put more eyes on low-budget movies . I watched AkaashVani yesterday and it was better than Race 2 .
