Recently during an interview about the success of Bajirao Mastani, Priyanka Chopra opened up about a lot of things. She was asked about her being offered a role in Salman Khan’s Sultan and her wishes for Salman Khan on his 50th Birthday. Since there were many actresses who were speculated to be the leading lady in Sultan, Priyanka Chopra clarifies that she is not a part of the movie. She said, “No, YRF never approached me to play the female lead in Sultan.”
She gave warm wishes to Salman Khan for his birthday saying, “I wish him health and prosperity. He is unwell since a few years and I wish that his health is taken care of. Having said that, He is Salman Khan, he is a SUPERHERO, he does not need any wishes.”
Priyanka Chopra was also asked when would the audience get a chance to see her share the screen space with the top Indian superstars again like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan. She said that she loves to be a part of films with the great script, “I don’t choose my films based on actors, I never do that. I chose the film based on the roles I get to play and the directors because I am a very director friendly actor. Whoever the actor is a bonus because the script itself is very good that a superstar just adds on to the same. And I do believe that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are superstars.”
After this interview, I think the real superstar is Priyanka Chopra herself!
