Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 5th Day Collection – PRDP saw a huge drop on Monday and collected 13.62 crores at the Box Office.
From 40 Crores on Day 1 at Box Office to an average 1st Sunday, it was just a downward travel for Salman Khan‘s PRDP. But the big drop on Monday, not only questions the Box Office Collections of the movie in coming days but also the movie itself. PRDP witnessed an enormous drop of around 70% on Monday compared to the first day.
Such a significant decrease on the first weekday signifies that masses have rejected the movie. PRDP opened to an average occupancy of around 30% in the morning shows that further dropped to 25% in the afternoon. The occupancy improved in the evening shows, but that wasn’t good enough to make a good Monday. The first Monday collection of the movie is less than last year Diwali release Happy New Year. With 13 crores on 1st Monday, PRDP now stands at the comprehensive collection of 143.39 crores. The five days collection of PRDP is 3rd highest of all time after Bajrangi Bhaijaan (150.45 crores) and Dhoom 3 (149.46 crores).
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo First Weekend Collection – 129.77 crores
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 5th Day Collection – 13.62 crores
As predicted by us, PRDP is following the same trend as last year Diwali release Happy New Year. Happy New Year also saw a huge drop on its first Monday and collected 15.01 crores. PRDP will struggle more in coming days as WOM is not good.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has a big budget of 115 crores. The movie is already a hit at the Box Office all thanks to Salman Khan’s popularity. The film was looking to make big at the Box Office after a bumper opening weekend but if it continues to drop like this then crossing 200 crores will be a tough task.
