Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 2nd Monday Collection Report: Inching Closer to 200 Crores on Box Office

Salman Khan’s PRDP collected around 3 crores on its 2nd Monday.

After a decent second weekend with the collection figure of 20.4 crores, Salman Khan’s PRDP again slumped at the domestic Box Office. As per the early estimates, PRDP collected only 3 crores on its second Monday. PRDP with the total collection of 196.22 crores is now the 10th highest grosser of all time in Bollywood.

Since, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starer Tamasha is releasing on this Friday PRDP has just a few days left to mint in more money at the Box Office. As per my prediction, this is PRDP’s last week at the Box Office as Tamasha will acquire most of the screens, especially in multiplexes and metros. PRDP may end up its Box Office journey with the lifetime collection of 208 to 210 crores.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is currently the fourth highest grosser for Salman and will beat the lifetime collection of EK Tha Tiger (198 crores) on Tuesday. The movie should enter 200 crore club on 2nd Wednesday.

Even though PRDP has recovered its budget of 115 crores and has been declared a clean hit still the movie is underperforming at the Box Office. The expectations from the movie were humongous, but it fell flat after having a grand opening weekend. PRDP will make it to the 200 crore club by Wednesday and it will be said as average considering the performance of Salman’s last two release – Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
