Prabhu Deva To Direct Salman Khan’s Dabangg, Shooting To Began In April 2018

Prabhu Deva will direct the third instalment of Dabangg. The shooting of the movie will start in April 2018.

Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 has been in news for a long time now. There have been multiple reports about its star cast, release date and shooting details. Now the producer of the movie, Arbaaz Khan has confirmed that the shooting of the movie will start in April 2018. The third part of the desi entertainer franchise will be directed by Prabhu Deva. Prabhu Deva has earlier directed Salman Khan in Wanted. It was a career changing film for Salman.

When Arbaaz was asked about the status of Dabangg 3, he said, “Prabhu Deva is directing Dabangg 3. We did meet last week, but all three of us are busy with our own careers. Salman is shooting for Race 3 and will have two films around the same time. We are likely to start shooting in April 2018, and need some time to work on the script as well as the pre-production of the project.”

The actor and producer further added, “We are still ideating. Just because I am the producer of the film, it doesn’t mean that I won’t creatively contribute to the venture. Prabhudeva and I are on the same page. He is someone who is open to suggestions.”

Salman Khan is very busy these days. He recently completed the shooting of his this year Christmas release Tiger Zinda Hai. In fact, the actor has started shooting for Race 3 which will hit the theaters next year on Eid. His other upcoming movies include Bharat which is scheduled for release on Eid 2019. Dabangg 3 is expected to hit the the big screens in second half of 2018.
