Earning of Piku has been as per expectations so far, with 14 crores raked in 2 days, little was expected out of line from Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan Starrer Piku. On Sunday, Piku opened up its cards pretty well on Box Office. The Positive reviews, and Mother’s day celebrations mostly ended up with a cozy seat in cineplexes showing Piku.
Piku was able to collect around 11 Crores* on Sunday as per close estimates based on responses till 6 PM evening. Let’s have a look at day wise collections :
Piku First Weekend Collection
Day 1 Friday: 5.32 Crores
Day 2 Saturday: 8.7 Crores
Day 3 Sunday: 11.2 Crores
This gives a collective figure of 25 Crores, which is in line with what Umesh predicted for Piku.
Still Deciding on watching Piku ? Well, the critics have certainly rated it above average with some saying it to be the best movie of 2015. Piku is worth your money as audience response has been explosive, I have personally not heard a very bad review and I enjoyed it as well.
