Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starer action-thriller Phantom is slated for release this Friday. Phantom is based on the book Mumbai Avengers written by Hussain Zaidi which talks about the events post 26/11 Mumbai attacks with fictional stories that should have happened. Phantom is directed by Kabir Khan who has mastered the art of movies based on cross border issues.

Phantom Movie Screen Count

Phantom is expected to release on around 2600 screens in India and around 400 screens in overseas. Taking about the distribution of screens, 35% of screens will be allotted single screens and mass centers while other 65% goes to multiplexes.

Phantom Movie Budget

Phantom is made on a budget of around 55 crores. With 15 crores spent on promotion and advertising, the total budget of the movie is 70 crores. The movie has already recovered 5 crores from the music rights and should recover around 35 crores from satellite rights.

Phantom Movie Run Time

The movie is passed by CBFC with U/A certificate after a lot of cuts in the original version. The movie has been banned in many countries including Pakistan. The total run time of the movie is 147 minutes.

The hype and buzz surrounding the movie isn’t great. he Box Office success of he movie will depend on its content. If the content turns out to be good, then Phantom can work at Box Office. However, the movie will find it difficult to sustain at Box Office.
