Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Ok Jaanu’ had a terrible first week at the domestic Box Office. The managed to earn only 19.5 crores in the first week. The Box Office fate of the movie was sealed on Monday only when it witnessed a huge drop of around 50%. It continues to drop on weekdays and dipped to 1 Crore on the last day (Thursday). ‘Ok Jaanu’ has emerged as the first flop of 2017 and thus the January Jinx continues for Bollywood. ‘Ok Jaanu’ got off to a poor opening and collected only 4.08 crores. The movie failed terribly in the first weekend and managed to earn only 13.8 crores. It saw a huge drop on Monday and managed to earn 1.95 crores. It continues to drop on weekdays and dipped to 1 Crore on the last day (Thursday) of the week.’Ok Jaanu’ faced strong competition from several releases in different parts of the country.

OK Jaanu First Week Collection: Way Ahead

Though there is no big release this Friday, ‘Ok Jaanu’ has no chance at the domestic Box Office. The movie has emerged as a big flop. Made on a budget of around 40 crores, the movie has managed to earn 26 crores (including overseas).

Talking about economics, the movie is a safe bet for producers as they have already recovered the budget through satellite, music and other rights.
