Neeraj Pandey is gearing up for the release of his next film ‘M.S.Dhoni- The Untold Story‘. Sushant Singh Rajput is playing the lead role of M.S.Dhoni in the movie and looks apt in it. But since Neeraj Pandey has given us such great movies with Akshay Kumar, we can ask why not Akki in the biopic. To this, Neeraj Pandey says it was not possible to cast Akshay Kumar as M.S.Dhoni.
Here’s what Neeraj Pandey had to say exactly-
“It was not possible for Akshay to play a 16-17-year-old teenager in the movie as Dhoni’s younger version. So I didn’t cast him as MS Dhoni.” Well we totally agree to what he says!
Neeraj also complemented Sushant Singh Rajput saying he is a very good actor. Sushant reads the script very sincerely, he also picked the body language right. He also talked about the movie saying MS Dhoni is also a patriotic film in its own way. It also speaks against corruption.
He was also asked about how Yuvraj Singh’s role is being portrayed in the movie. He said “We don’t want to hurt someone. It’s a clean movie and Yuvraj Singh will definitely love it. You don’t become big by hurting someone. The story of MS Dhoni is not just about cricket .It is his journey. If you are having a dream you can chase it and achieve it.”
