Sushant Singh Rajput, Disha Patani and Kiara Advani starrer MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has got off to a tremendous opening at the domestic Box Office. The movie tanked in 21.3 crores on its first day to register the second highest opening of 2016 after Salman Khan’s Sultan (36.4 crores).
Released on 3800 screens across the country, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story has beaten the opening day collection of biggies like Shahrukh Khan’s FAN, Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3.
The movie has received a positive response from the audience and is expected to witness good numbers throughout the opening weekend. The movie has also become the highest Bollywood opener in the biopic genre beating movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom.
