MS Dhoni The Untold Story 9th Day Collection: Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni biopic crosses the 100 crores mark on its ninth day, becomes second fastest 100 crores grosser of 2016 after Sultan.
After a superb opening week with the collection of 94.13 crores, MS Dhoni The Untold Story is holding strong Box Office in the second week as well. Despite the release of two new movies, Mirzya and Tutak Tutak Tutiya, it remained the first choice for the moviegoers.
The movie has been received well by critics and the WOM of the moviegoers is also positive. Being one of the most awaited movies of 2016, MS Dhoni biopic has been receiving good response from the first day. The movie registers the second highest opening week of 2016 beating the biggies like Airlift, Rustom, Housefull 3 and FAN.
It started the second weekend on a positive note, collection 4.07 crores on its second Friday. The movie witnessed good growth on Saturday and is expected to collect around 5.5 crores. Despite the release of Mirzya and Tutak Tutak Tutiya, it remained the first choice for the moviegoers. MS Dhoni The Untold Story has crossed the 100 crores mark today thus becoming the fifth movie of 2016 to cross 100 crores after Sultan, Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3.

The movie is performing well and its second-weekend collection will be higher than the new releases. It is expected to remain strong throughout the second week as new releases have got off to a poor opening. We are expecting it to beat the lifetime collection of Rustom and Airlift by the end of the second week.
The movie is already in a safe zone, all thanks to the huge opening weekend numbers. It will continue to earn at Box Office till the release of Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on 28 Oct 2016.
