Mr. X First Week Collection: Emraan Hashmi’s Mr. X collected only 22 Crores in its first week at Box Office.
Mr. X starring Emraan Hashmi, Amyra Dastur and Arunoday Singh has released last Friday at Box Office. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Mr. X is a sci-fi thriller in which Emraan is playing an invisible man in quest of revenge.
As expected, the movie remains low in its first week at domestic Box Office. Emraan Hashmi starer sci-fi thriller received poor reception from critics and audience, as a result the movie wasn’t able to pick up. The movie starts off on a lower note with an opening weekend collection of 13.99 crores. The movie wasn’t able to pick up on weekdays as well and collected around 7 crores from Monday to Thursday.
Released on around 2000 screens, Mr. X now stands at a total collection of around 22 crores which is fairly low for Emraan Hashmi and Vikram Bhatt movie. The actor-director duo generally enjoys good Box Office reception.
According to BOI- “The opening collections of Mr. X are very dull all over with some multiplexes having audience counts of less than ten. The opening was expected to be low but not this low.”
Mr. X Day-Wise Box Office Collection
Mr. X 1st Day (Friday) Collection: 4.5 crores
Mr. X 2nd Day (Saturday) Collection: 4.39 crores
Mr. X 3rd Day (Sunday) Collection: 5.1 crores
Mr. X 4th Day (Monday) Collection: 2.5 crores
Mr. X 5th Day (Tuesday) Collection: 2.15 crores
Mr. X 6th Day (Wednesday) Collection: 1.75 crores
Mr. X 7th Day (Thursday) Collection: 1.61 Crores
Mr. X First Week Collection: 22 Crores
With such an average opening week and Avengers release this week, it would be difficult for the movie to survive at Box Office. Made on a big budget of around 35 crores, Mr. X would find it difficult to recover its production cost. Looks like a fourth flop on a trot for Emraan Hashmi after Ghanchakkar, Raja Natwarlal and Ungli.
