After a poor opening with the collection of 8.87 crores, Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde starrer witnessed decent growth over the weekend. The movie saw a growth of around 20% on Sunday compared to the first day. As per the official numbers shared by taran Adarsh, Mohenjo Daro 3rd day collection is 12.07 crores. It stands at the total collection of 30.54 crores at the end of the first weekend.

With the collection of 30.54 crores, Mohenjo Daro is now the 9th highest opening weekend grosser of 2016. Mohenjo Daro has beaten the opening weekend collection of Kapoor And Sons (26.35), Ki & Ka (25.23) and Ghayal Once Again (23.25). The movie has failed to beat the first weekend collection of low budget movies like Baaghi and Udta Punjab.
Despite showing good growth, the overall performance of Mohenjo Daro till now has been way below expectations. The expectations were huge from Hrithik Roshan as he has made a sort of comeback after two years. The first Weekend collection of Mohenjo Daro is 4th Highest of his career after Bang Bang, Krissh 3 and Agneepath.

Mohenjo Daro is made on a budget of around 120 crores. The movie needs to show good numbers throughout the first week in order to have any chance of recovery at Box Office. Monday (Independence day holiday) will be crucial in deciding the Box Office fate of the movie.
