If we see the first weekend Box Office collection of the women centric movies released in last few years, it is clear that Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture is ahead of all. The Dirty Picture collected around 32 crores in its first weekend as compared to the recently released Mary Kom biopic. Mary Kom raked in around 28+ crores in its first weekend. Kangana Ranaut starer Queen which is one of the biggest hits of 2014 gathered only 10 crores in its first weekend. Queen worked at Box Office primitively because of rave reviews and high quality content.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which is considered as one of the best biopic of Bollywood has collected around 31.25 crores in its first weekend. Mary Kom is on the same lines as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag but it would be difficult for the movie to sustain big at Box Office as it has got mixed reviews from the audience as well as critics.
