Mardaani Box Office Prediction : Mardaani deals in serious subject of female trafficking. Considering it we can’t expect a big opening. The movie is not aimed to make big bucks at Box Office, but to spread awareness on this serious issue of female trafficking.
Rani Mukherjee is making comeback on big screen with Mardaani this Friday.
The movie is releasing alongside Expendables 3 and MAD(Mad About Dance). Well, Mardaani is a serious film on subject of female trafficking – a topic which needs serious awareness among the middle class and lower class societies of the country.
Mardaani has a superb concept attached to it. Considering the subject of the movie, we can’t expect a big opening from the movie. The makers of the movie has already make it clear that the movie is not aimed for making big bucks at Box Office. They have made this movie to impact the lives of the people and to bring about the awareness among the people on serious issue of female trafficking.
Remember, Mardaani has received A certficate from censor board. This is a first A certificate for any Yash Raj movie. Though the trailer and Rani’s role as cop Shivani Shivaji Rao has received a very good response from critics and audiences, the adult only certificate will surely hinder the family audience.
Mardaani has a tough fight with Expendables 3. Previous installment of Expendables has done a tremendous business in India. Expendables 3 is expected to have a good Opening on Indian Box Office. This means that Mardaani has a tough competition with Expendables as well as Singham Returns which is still going strong at Box Office.
Well, it is quite clear that Mardaani is not here to mint big money at Box Office. But, still the Box Office fate of the movie depends on word of mouth and the content of the movie. With Strong content we can expect a decent collection from this women oriented subject.
Mardaani will surely do better than Rani’s last outing Aiyyaa and his previous outing with Pradeep Sarkar(Laaga Chunri Mein Daag). We all know that Rani Mukherjee is a very strong actress, so we can expect a brilliant performance from her on the likes of No One Killed Jessica, Black etc.
