The makers of Go Goa Gone Raj-DK have been planning a new film with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon but it could not succeed. Now, Kriti Sanon’s Farzi has got a lifeline!
‘Go Goa Fame’ Raj and Krishna DK were planning on making a movie titled as ‘Farzi’ featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Unfortunately, last year things did not work out well for them, Shahid Kapoor got busy with ‘Rangoon’ and then we heard that the movie has been shelved. But the good news is that Kriti Sanon’s Farzi has got a second life after all!
One of the makers Raj spoke to a leading daily and confirmed the news. He said-
“Everything happens for a reason. Farzi is very close to our hearts and it’s a script that we love. So once this film (Reloaded) is over, we will start working on ‘Farzi’ as it has an Indian feel.”
Last year, Kriti Sanon has spoken about the movie openly. She said “There were a lot of changes to be made in the script. So, I don’t know when it is happening. I just know that I am a part of it and I feel it’s not my business to think other aspects of the filmmaking. I read the script and I really liked it. The directors are really quirky and I just hope it happens soon.”
Raj-DK are currently busy with Reloaded, an action movie featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez. Let’s wait for an official announcement about the rest of the cast and more details.
