Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” in political trouble because of Pakistani Actor Fawad Khan. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), run by Raj Thackeray, has targeted Karan Johar’s movies for the third time.

Due to the recent unfortunate Uri attacks, there has been uproar in the country about Pakistani terrorism. Because of this, Pakistani heartthrob – Fawad Khan is asked to leave India within 48 hours by the MNS and with this Karan Johar’s “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” in political trouble big time!

Not just Fawad Khan, but also other Pakistani Actors like Mahir Khan – who is Shah Rukh Khan’s female lead in Raees ; and Ali Zafar asked to leave the country as well. According to MNS, banning Pakistani artists in our country is going to solve terrorism.

This is not the first time that KJo‘s movie has been targeted. Earlier in 2008, KJo’s production – Wake Up Sid was threatened to be vandalized in theaters due to the use of word ‘Bombay’ in the movie. Soon after, the makers had to beep the word.

Later, the mega release of 2010 – My Name is Khan – another Kjo directorial, was threatened by the Shiv Sena because Shah Rukh Khan decided to include Pakistani players in his IPL team of Kolkata Knight Riders. Everything was done to stop the release of ‘MNIK’ – even tearing and burning of the movie posters, but the film was released and created history at the Box Office.

Given the popularity of Fawad Khan among the Indian masses and also the fact that the shooting of “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” will have to be stalled because of the political pressure, the makers will have to face huge loss.

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has received huge applause from the masses both for the trailer and their mesmerizing songs. The promotions would have been in full swing, if not for this unfortunate incident of involvement of the MNS.

However, going by the track record, both ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘My Name is Khan’ have gone to be the year’s biggest hits and therefore, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ seems to be receiving all the publicity it needs.
