Karan Johar says he has to be a part of Aryan Khan’s launch in movies and we just can’t wait for it to happen!
It is a well-known fact that Karan Johar is a very close friend of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan. So when Karan Johar says he has to be a part of Aryan Khan’s launch in movies, we know for sure it will happen someday or the other. Here’s what KJo said during an interview with Filmfare-
“Aryan is young. He has four years of university left (reportedly Aryan’s attending the film school at the University of Southern California – USC). After that he’ll decide what he wants. Right now, one shouldn’t burden him with anything. I’ve told him that if he ever decides to do movies I have to be part of his launch. I’ll force myself into that because I love Aryan. He’s my godchild. I’ve seen him growing up. He is as old as my career. He was born after the first schedule of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai on November 12, 1997. For me Aryan is beyond films. He’s more than family to me.”
KJo also talked about the rumors about him launching Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar. He said “There are a lot of stories circulating. I don’t want to confirm anything officially because when things happen, the announcement will be made.” His production house has become the most-sought after launch pad for newcomers. He launched Ali Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra with Student of the Year and we all know how well they are doing.
Karan Johar has a way with the youngsters. He wants to stay connected with the young and the restless. He says “Dharma Productions will launch three or four strong newcomers. I take a lot of care when I launch them. It’s not that I leave their hand after their first film. I hold on to them, I nurture them. So the children I don’t have biologically I have vis a vis my films. I worry about everything they do on a daily basis. I still talk to Varun, Sidharth and Alia every day. What they are doing, what they are feeling, what they are going to sign, what they should sign. So, whoever I launch, I will give 100 per cent of my time to them.”
Right now, KJo is busy with the promotions of his upcoming directional Ae Dil Hai Mushkil featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan. But we will be waiting for the time when Aryan Khan makes his debut!
