Kaabil 1st Day Box Office Collection: Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer had an average opening at the domestic Box Office. On its opening day, the movie failed to live up to expectations as far as Box Office numbers are concerned. The movie has beaten by Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees by a huge margin. Kaabil 1st Day Box Office Collection & Occupancy Report
The movie opened to 25% occupancy in the morning shows which is way below expectations. It faced big competition from other release Raees which remained the first choice for the moviegoers on Friday. Kaabil managed to pick up as the day progressed but still the growth wasn’t enough to post a big first day total.

Talking about area-wise occupancy, Raees was way ahead of Kaabil in all circuits except south. In Mumbai, Mysore, Gujarat centres, the difference in occupancy was almost double. In Central India, Raees was ahead of Kaabil by a good margin. Overall, the registered an occupancy of around 40% on its opening day which is way below what we expected. Ideally, Kaabil should have opened to 55% occupancy.
Kaabil First Day Collection: Official Numbers And Way Ahead
As per the official numbers shared by Taran Adarsh, Kaabil first day collection is 10.43 crores. It is the 5th highest opening day grosser for Hrithik Roshan. A lot was said about Raees and Kaabil clash but it turned out a one-sided affair of the first day probably due to Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom and Raees’ better promotion.
Kaabil may have struggled on the first day but we can’t write it off as it has received superb reviews from critics. The WOM of the general audience is also positive and we can expect it to come back strongly in coming days. Kaabil will witness good growth tomorrow because of national Holiday. The real fight between the two movies will start from Friday when WOM comes into play.
