Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and SRK’s Raees are all set to clash at Box Office. Both movies will release on 26 January 2016. While the trailer of Raees is yet to be released, the makers of Kaabil seem to be in hurry with their film. The trailer of Kaabil was released few days back and it received good reponse from the critics and audience.
With more than two months left for the release, the makers of Kaabil have now sold the domestic and overseas rights of the movie for Rs 65 crores.
“I can comment on the figure for distribution rights and what you hear is correct. I don’t want to burden my distributors and hence Indian theatrical rights have been sold to them for Rs. 50 crore and overseas for Rs. 15 crore,” director Rakesh Roshan said in an interview to Bollywood Hungama.
Kaabil is one of the most awaited movie of 2017. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy in lead roles. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil is a story of a visually impaired man who is seeking a revenge of his wife’s murder. Both Hrithik and Yami are playing visually impaired characters in the movie.
Wiith the distribution rights being sold for 65 crores, we are expecting the budget of the movie to be around 50 crores.
