The 17th Jio MAMI 2015 festival is nothing but a movie feast! What this means is that they showcase movies from different genres from Bollywood, Hollywood and other international movies for the benefit of art-lovers and the people of Mumbai. The festival is run by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image, popularly known as MAMI. Hence the name ( Jio is just because Reliance is the main sponsor).
Kiran Rao has been appointed as the chairperson of Jio MAMI and her main focus is to this festival a gateway to Indian cinema. We wish Kiran all the best! The fest is starting on October 29 and will end on 5 November.
