“He extricated the foetus and disposed it of in the toilet” – A deed that took Jiah Khan’s Life?
Everyone takes risk in life, what matters is how much? When Sooraj Pancholi extricated the foetus of an unborn baby, he risked her life both emotionally and physically. The moment was enough for Jiah Khan‘s falling into the realm of never ending depression which eventually forced her into ending her life.
Sooraj and Jiah were a nice & happy couple until she became pregnant and this is how it ended. The fight for justice by Jiah’s mother becomes stronger after CBI recently found out very crucial evidences related to this case during the investigation. A CBI Officer told Mumbai Mirror few serious details on the condition of anonymity. The person told Jiah Khan was 4 weeks into pregnancy when they(Sooraj and Jiah) approached a gynecologist for abortion.
The charge sheet mentions, “After taking the medicine, Khan started hemorrhaging and called Pancholi for help. She was in pain and needed immediate medical attention but Pancholi allegedly asked her to wait and called up the gynecologist for guidance. He was asked to rush Khan to hospital as the foetus had probably aborted but had not been expelled from the body, which is probably what led to the hemorrhaging. This added to her depression which finally drove her to suicide”
It goes on to add “The willful conduct of the accused narrated in the note written by the deceased, her intimate relationship, the physical abuse, the mental and physical torture which she experienced, allegedly led the deceased to commit suicide.”
Will Sooraj Pancholi be convicted for this is yet to be seen, even if there are no strong evidence, there is no refute on this that we lost Jiah Khan.
