From Friday to Monday, the movie witnessed consistent numbers ranging from 4.5 crores to 6 crores. On its fifth day, the movie took full advantage of the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday and earned around 5.6 crores.

The total worldwide gross collection of the movie is 90 crores. The film has beaten the first-week record share of Srimanthudu in just 5 days itself.
With the first day gross worldwide collection of 41 crores, Janatha Garage has become the biggest Tollywood opener of 2016 and the second biggest opener of all time after Baahubali.

Janatha Garage has become the biggest Tollywood opener of 2016 beating Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam which grossed 40 crores and 30 crores respectively at the worldwide box office on their opening day.
The film is targeting a 60 crores first week share worldwide. It will be the second highest first-week record after Bahubali. After Baahubali, Janatha Garage has become the only Telugu film to have 5 crore shares on three days after the opening day (Friday, Sunday, Monday).
