Jai Ho Movie Review : Jai Ho is Salman’s way of Cherishing himself
Jai Ho is another ‘special’ flick that fits in no genre ever created. Now Salman Khan has been very popular in creating flicks that do not live by rules of this world. The movie has to follow only one truth – ‘Salman Khan is the centre around which the whole world revolves’
Salman is a man with a rather impossible thoughts, he acts accordingly, fights with bad man, and eventually brings out an ending that comply with his terms. During the journey, he will make you laugh, will fall in love, sing songs, enjoy and do whatever he wants. Be it Dabangg, Ek tha Tiger or recently released Jai Ho, these are no common movies, they are Salman’s Cinema. They are bound to be left unjudged or rather should only be judged in Salman Genre.
Having said all this, Jai fits perfectly in Salman category and brings out good ‘Salman’ entertainment cinema. Jai Ho is 5 out of 5 on a Salman Cinema Rating Scale.
Let us dig a bit deeper and find out what Jai Ho Movie Review brings out.
Story and Direction:
You will get to see some excellent action sequences in Jai Ho. As far as story is concerned, Salman Khan has a unique way of wiping out corruption from the country. In return for one help, a person will have to help three others and so on. The never-ending change though unrealistic will eventually wipe out corruption.
As obvious it gets, during this Salman journey, he lock horns with Dasharath Singh (Danny Denzongpa). Geeta (Tabu) urges his brother to come out of his dream world and stop weaving his chain, but it never happens successfully in a ‘Salman Genre‘. Eventually Salman turns out to be a hero more than a Aam Aadmi and rest is all history.
Ah! Did I forgot Daisy Shah ? Randomly there are few Salman Moments where he gets romantic, you can find Daisy there. However, the shift and pace of the movie is rather screech sometimes.
Salman Khan is more confident and fits his skin very well. His performance reflects his confidence and is quite engaging thorough the movie. Tabu, Nadira Babbar, Genelia D’Souza and Mohnish Behl were good in whatever time they had the screen to themselves.
Danny is very good in negative role and looks perfect in his character. Daisy is lost somewhere, yet she is okay.
Music is the only drawback for ‘Jai Ho’. It disengage audience more than adding to the assets of the movie. Read more about the music here : JAi Ho Music Review
